Process

The most creative process was the designing of the PCB. I wanted to create an interesting structure that was both compact but not too compact. I enjoyed the process of trial and error and problem solving where to place components such that the wires wouldn't cross.

In terms of the outline, I chose to create a rough, jagged outline of the heart rather than use curves to better match the sharp turns of the copper wires and components.

Through working on this project, I began to see how to make creative decisions that were inspired by the existing components and environment. Rather than coming up with an idea or creating something completely from scratch, I like the idea of integrating the piece into the existing environment.
